Two Agniveers killed during firing practice in Maharashtra

Two Agniveers were killed on Thursday when a shell from an Indian field gun exploded during a training exercise at the Artillery Centre in Nashik, Maharashtra.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon in the Nashik Road area, according to police.
The Agniveers, identified as 20 year-old Gohil Vishwaraj Singh, and 21-year-old Saifat were involved in the practice session.A shell exploded during the firing exercise, causing injuries to both individuals.
They were transported to MH Hospital in Deolali, where medical staff declared them dead.
Following a complaint by Havildar Ajit Kumar, authorities have registered a case of accidental death at the Deolali Camp police station. Police are investigating the incident.
