Why BJP’s planning to flood Milkipur with Ambedkar’s photos and copies of Constitution

New Delhi: Ahead of the Milkipur assembly bypolls in Ayodhya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has chalked out an extensive plan to counter the Opposition’s narrative of ‘Samvidhan Bachao‘ (Save the Constitution) in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from distributing copies of Ambedkar’s photo and the tricolour flag in Dalit-dominated areas, the BJP state unit plans to prepare a pamphlet showcasing how Congress and SP are “anti-Dalits”. Last week, BJP state secretary Abhijat Mishra along with other party functionaries distributed copies of the Constitution and Ambedkar’s photographs to sanitation workers at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is banking on ‘Brand Yogi’ to complement ‘Brand Modi’ in the run-up to the 5 February Delhi assembly elections. According to Delhi BJP leaders, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to address around 15 rallies during the campaign, the most by any party leader from outside the national capital. “There are 14 districts and the idea is to ensure he covers constituencies in each of them.
