NEW DELHI: Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced on social media that Colombia will halt coal exports to Israel due to its military actions in the Gaza Strip, actions he described as 'genocide.'According to Petro, the draft decree will be published by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism between June 11 and 17 for public comments before it becomes effective.This report comes from Xinhua news agency.Colombia exported $447 million worth of coal to Israel in 2023, marking a 57 percent decrease from 2022.
