ED Files Chargesheet Against Arvind Kejriwal, AAP In Delhi Liquor Policy Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against both Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The ED has submitted a supplementary chargesheet in the alleged liquor scam involving the Aam Aadmi Party. The Supreme Court on Friday began hearing Kejriwal's petition against his arrest.   During the hearing, the ED informed the Supreme Court that they would be filing the chargesheet in the trial court today, naming the Aam Aadmi Party as an accused. In a crucial statement, the ED revealed that they have obtained chats between Arvind Kejriwal and hawala operators. The Solicitor General stated, "They destroyed their phones. PMLA Court Rejects Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren’s Bail Plea

A PMLA court on Monday rejected the bail petition moved by former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in an alleged money laundering case. Earlier the court had reserved its verdict after hearing the arguments of both parties. Former CM and JMM chief Hemant Soren had filed a petition for bail in the PMLA court on April 15. In another setback to Soren, the Supreme Court also refused interim relief in the case to Soren today. After hearing Soren's submission briefly on his petition against the high court order rejecting his bail petition, the top court asked the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to file a response till May 17.
