BMC eyeing to rejuvenate 11 lakes around Malad, Madh

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is eyeing to rejuvenate 11 lakes across P/North ward which includes areas like Malad, Manori, Madh in a pilot project that seeks to revive natural ecosystems and green spaces. Currently in its preliminary stage, the proposed plan entails overall upgradation of water quality as well as the beautification of the dilapidated natural water bodies dotted across Malad. After the services got discontinued, the Prime Minister himself intervened, following which a process was initiated to re-establish the line.
