New Zealand quick Lockie Ferguson on Monday created history as he bowled the most economical spell in T20 cricket’s history. Bowling his four overs quota in New Zealand’s final group stage game against Papua New Guinea (PNG), Ferguson didn’t give away a single run and snapped three wickets. Ferguson becomes just the 2nd bowler after Saad Bin Zafar to not concede a run in T20Is. Ferguson claimed the wickets of PNG skipper Assad Vala, Charles Amini and Chad Soper, bowling four maiden overs as New Zealand restricted PNG for 78 runs in 19.4 overs.
