NEET UG Revised Result 2024: The National Testing Agency, NTA has released the NEET UG revised result 2024. The NTA has released the merit list based on the Supreme Court's decision. According to media reports, the court's decision has impacted around 4 lakh students, including 44 students who achieved a perfect score of 720. Students can check their revised results through the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Earlier, the All-India rank 1 was shared by 67 students. Bengaluru: The Karnataka assembly Thursday passed a resolution against the central medical entrance test NEET, thereby joining a growing list of anti-BJP states that have sought exemption from it. The Mamata Bannerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal had passed a similar resolution Wednesday. SC Asks NTA To Re-Tally NEET-UG Results Over Ambiguous Question It Referred To IIT-D

The Supreme Court on Tuesday, while refusing to order a re-test in NEET-UG exams, directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to re-tally the exam result based on the correct answer to one four marker "ambiguous question" in the medical entrance exam of 2024.The NTA had granted marks to all students who either marked option 4 or option 2 as the correct answer. One answer was correct based on old NCERT and another based on New NCERT. The NTA in its initial answer key had said that option 4 (new NCERT was the correct answer.) But after objections were raised over ambiguity, the NTA granted marks to all students who chose either of the options. New Delhi: The CBI on Friday arrested Surabhi Kumari, a first-year MBBS student at Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), for allegedly being part of a 'solver module' linked to the NEET-UG paper leak, news agency PTI quoted officials as saying. Kumari was detained after two days of intensive questioning by the CBI, according to the officials. NEET UG Paper Leak Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two more people in connection with the NEET paper leak case. The arrests took place in Patna and Hazaribagh. Pankaj Singh, also known as Aditya, was arrested in Patna. NEET-UG ‘Paper Leak’ Case: CBI Arrests Kingpin ‘Rockey’ From Patna

The CBI on Thursday arrested the alleged kingpins in the NEET-UG 'paper leak' case who was on the run ever since the crackdown on irregularities in the exam began. Rockey alias Rakesh Ranjan, who hails from Nalanda district in Bihar, and is said to be a relative of mastermind Sanjeev Mukhia, was nabbed by the agency from outskirts of Patna, PTI quoted officials as saying. The CBI has been trying to apprehend him since the agency took over the case. His run came to an end Thursday morning when he was arrested by the agency, they said. NEW DELHI: The central government on Wednesday filed an affidavit in Supreme Court saying that there was no "mass malpractice" in the 2024 NEET-UG exam.According to the Centre, data analytics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras indicates no evidence of widespread misconduct or any specific group of candidates unfairly benefiting, which could result in unusual scores.The Centre said that counselling will commence in four rounds beginning in the third week of July.
