Mumbai Weather Update: Heavy rainfall lashed parts of Maharashtra's capital city Mumbai on Thursday. The continuous downpour in the city has left it reeling under waterlogging, which has disrupted normal life. The temperature in the city was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius on Thursday, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Mumbai has been receiving heavy rainfall from the last few weeks and complaints of waterlogging in several parts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in isolated areas of Mumbai on Saturday, putting the city under an orange alert. An orange alert has also been issued for Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts in Maharashtra's Konkan region.
