After Manish Sisodia skips ACB summons, officials ask him to appear on June 20 in classroom construction ‘scam’
The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Delhi Government Tuesday again summoned former AAP minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the alleged corruption to the tune of Rs 2,000 crore in the construction of classrooms in government schools when the party was in power.
Sisodia was summoned on June 3, and had to appear before ACB officials on June 9, but he could not do so, citing prior engagements. ACB has now asked him to appear on June 20.
On Monday, after the Aam Aadmi Party leader’s counsel said he would file a reply via email, ACB officials said that once he does so, they will see whether a summons will be issued again.
