Punjab: BSF recover 570 grams of heroin from Kilche village in Ferozepur – Times of India
FEROZEPUR: The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered around 570 grams of heroin from a farming field in Kilche village in the Ferozepur district.According to an official release from the BSF, "On July 11, 2024, based on information by the BSF intelligence wing regarding the presence of narcotics consignments in the border area of district Ferozepur, BSF troops promptly launched an extensive search operation in the suspected area.""During the search at about 6.15 am in the early hours, the troops successfully recovered 1 packet (gross weight: 570 grams) of suspected heroin from a farming field in village Kilche of district Ferozepur," it said.As per the release, the narcotics were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and a metal ring and a small torch were found attached to the packet."Reli...
