What Happened With Aayushi’s Result?

Aayushi Patel was one of the several lakhs of people who took NEET this year. Aayushi alleged that the NTA did not release her result, stating that her OMR sheet was torn. Calculating her score using the answer key, she found that she correctly answered the questions carrying 715 marks out of the total 720.

“My uncle is an advocate at the High Court’s Lucknow Bench. We sent three legal notices and seven emails to the NTA on June 4, requesting my OMR sheet via email. Twenty-four hours later, the (image of the) OMR sheet sent by the NTA shocked me and my entire family. The OMR sheet was torn, but the bubbles I filled were visible,” Ayushi told ABP LIVE

However, the NTA denied her claims and clarified that no torn OMR answer sheet was sent through an official NTA ID. Additionally, they affirmed that the OMR sheet remains intact and that the scores are accurate, according to official records.

“Regarding the viral video featuring Ms. Aayushi Patel, claiming discrepancies in NEET (UG) 2024 scoring and the receipt of a torn OMR answer sheet, the NTA clarifies that no torn OMR answer sheet was sent via an official NTA ID. The OMR answer sheet is intact, and scores are accurate as per official records. Candidates should download scorecards only from the website,” the NTA said in a notice.

However, following the NTA’s response, Aayushi has questioned how her result was available on a different application number from the number mentioned on her admit card.

Aayushi’s petition raising questions on NTA’s examination system will be heard tomorrow by a Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court.

What NEET Expert NV Sir Said On Aayushi’s Case?

Talking to ABP LIVE on Ayushi’s case, Motion Education’s founder and CEO, Nitin Vijay (NV Sir), said, “The result should be available under the roll number (application number) mentioned on her admit card. NTA has denied sending an email with an image of a torn OMR sheet. I don’t know who is right or wrong. When ‘24041184074’ is mentioned as the application number on the admit card, why is the result available under the application number ‘240411340741’? NTA needs to answer this.”
