Interestingly, the last cake had a question mark for the next section that would be registered against him by the police. The photo posted by Ziya Ansari on his Instagram account went viral, leading to police taking cognizance of the photograph.

DCP (Zone VII) Vijay Sagar said an FIR had been registered and necessary action would follow against the accused person.

An officer from Bhandup police station said that Ansari, a Bhandup resident, had seven cases registered against him. In order to celebrate his birthday, 28 small cakes had been ordered for him to cut. While the initial cakes called him “Bhandup King Ziya”, the other cakes had sections like 302 which stands for murder under the Indian Penal Code, 307 that stands for attempt to murder, along with two other sections.

The last cake had a question mark written on it wondering which section would be invoked against him next. An officer said, “Such glorification of crimes and celebrating police cases sends across a wrong message. We have registered an FIR and necessary action will be taken.”
