Utkarsh Singh | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Off-spinner Utkarsh Singh rated his spell against Tamil Nadu on Thursday (six for 30) as his best ever.“I think this ranks as number one. Because, this is the quickest five-wicket haul that I’ve taken. How BJP wrested Chandigarh mayor’s post from AAP-Congress with 11th hour defection & 3 cross-votes

Chandigarh: A year after it suffered massive embarrassment when the Supreme Court invalidated the Chandigarh mayoral result in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate, the BJP wrested the post from its rival Thursday. A defection and three cross-votes ensured the victory. Last year, the Supreme Court intervened after a massive uproar in the House on grounds that then BJP leader and returning officer Anil Masih defaced and tampered with eight ballot papers of the AAP-Congress and declared them invalid, announcing the BJP candidate the winner. The SC held Anil Masih guilty of tampering and lying in court and declared the AAP-Congress candidate the winner. Masih later offered an unconditional apology in the court and has continued to function as a nominated councillor since then. Howeve...

M.D. Nidheesh (30) added 79 runs for the ninth wicket with Nizar. The left-handed Nizar farmed the strike and chose the right moments to hit the big shots. N...

Vastu Shastra makes for some really valuable information when it comes to designing and structuring living spaces that ensure perfect harmony among the members of the family. This can help in enhancing the energy flow of a home and promote better bonding within the family.1. Sitting Room Plan: Since it is the lounge of the family's members, it shall have to be in the east or north direction of the house. Place the sitting in a circle or a semi-circle so that people are able to face each other and have conversations, avoiding direct eye-contact. Do not place the mirror opposite the main door as this disintegrates energies.2. Dining Hall: Place the dining table in the east or west portion of the house. The preferred shape of the table is rectangular, and the head of the family should sit fac...
