Digvesh Rathi was included in the starting lineup for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their Indian Premier League 2025 match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Monday (March 24, 2025). He claimed the crucial and his maiden IPL wicket of DC captain Axar Patel. He also went on to take another wicket of DC’s Vipraj Nigam.
He rose to fame after his outstanding performances in the Delhi Premier League last year, where he took 14 wickets at an impressive average of 7.82 over the course of 10 matches.
Rathi, who is a spinner, is originally from Delhi and has participated in only two T20 matches for the team. He previously competed in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024/25, where he took three wickets.
LSG had secured him for ₹30 lakh during the major auction.
