The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notice regarding the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, listing rejected candidates. The commission stated that it did not receive bank confirmation for the ₹100 application fee. As a result, the applications of 43 candidates have been rejected due to non-payment of the fee.The notice reads, ‘With reference to the to your application for Civil Service (Preliminary) examination, 2025, confirmation has NOT been received from the Bank authorities regarding receipt of Fee of Rs 100/- in respect of the following 43 candidates for Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2025 listed herein. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the application window for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 today, February 21, 2025. Previously the deadline was February 18, 2025 which has been extended. Eligible candidates who have yet not submitted their forms can complete their application on the official website, upsc.gov.in.The correction window for the exam forms will open on February 22, 2025, and close on February 28, 2025. The Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) and Civil Services (Preliminary) examination is scheduled to be held on March 25, 2025.
