Two village defence guards have been kidnapped and killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district. At least 40 killed in attack on Chad military base – Times of India

At least 40 soldiers were killed and others wounded when jihadist group Boko Haram attacked a Chad military unit on Sunday. The extremist organization targeted the military base in Chad's Lake region which is close to the Nigerian border, the government said on Monday.The presidency's communique said that "A garrison housing more than 200 soldiers was targeted by members of Boko Haram" in the western region of Chad late Sunday night.
