RG Kar Case: Kolkata Police Suspends Abhijit Mondal Days After CBI Arrest

Kolkata News: Abhijit Mondal, the officer-in-charge of Tala Police Station, has been suspended following his arrest by the CBI in connection with the RG Kar Hospital rape and murder case, Kolkata Police informed on Wednesday. This comes after CBI custody of Mondal, along with Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, was extended by three days by the Sealdah court on Tuesday.  The officer in charge of Tala Police Station, Abhijit Mondal has been suspended, news agency ANI reported Kolkata police as stating.
