Bombay High Court gives relief to Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra, orders a stay on ED’s eviction order – Times of India
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty received an order from ED on September 27, to vacate their properties in Juhu and Pawna Lake by October 13. Reports suggest that the Mumbai Zonal Office attached assets worth Rs 97.79 crore belonging to Raj, under the Prevention Of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. With regards to this order of eviction from the ED, Shilpa and Raj had gone to the Bombay High Court.The court has now granted relief to Shilpa and Raj and put a stay on ED's order. The couple had earlier challenged their eviction notice in court related to a money laundering case.
