New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra suffered an injury on Saturday in the Tri-Series opener vs Pakistan when a ball hit him straight on the face while fielding. The incident occurred in the 38th over of Pakistan’s chase when Khushdil Shah tried a slog sweep off a Michael Bracewell delivery which went straight to Ravindra. The Kiwi player tried to take the catch but ended up misjudging it and he got hit straight on his face which led to him bleeding and then leaving the field. While leaving, his face was covered with a towel by the physio in order to stop the bleeding.
