6 Killed In Tragic Road Accident While Going Home To Celebrate Diwali With Family In UP

Six people, including four of a family, were killed and five injured after a tempo in which they were travelling was hit by a tractor in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun. All the victims, who worked as vegetable vendors in Noida, were returning home to celebrate Diwali. They were travelling in a three-wheeled loader tempo. Those who were killed include Atul, 31, from Mirzapur, Kanhai, 35, from Bareilly, his wife Kusum, 30, and their children, Kartik and Sheenu, aged eight and five, said Budaun District Magistrate Nidhi Srivastav. She said one person is yet to be identified. A day after the charred body of a property dealer from Ghaziabad was found in his burnt car, police said that the man did not die of fire but was choked to death before the vehicle was set ablaze.
