Controversy erupted in the Mumbai Indians vs UP Warriorz match when Mumbai batter Hayley Matthews was given out after a DRS fiasco. The batter would have a word with the umpire and the incident would be rechecked leading to Matthews staying at the crease after being given out initially. In the 5th over of the Mumbai innings, it appeared that Matthews had played Sophie Ecclestone’s yorker with the bat.
