Gurugram: Barely six weeks after Haryana ministers met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini seeking powers to transfer employees, the state government has come out with a draft transfer policy that effectively keeps the ministers and MLAs out of this process. The human resources department of the Haryana government Monday notified the draft “Model Online Transfer Policy” for the administrative secretaries of the government and the heads of all departments, inviting their views and suggestions on the draft policy by 28 February. “No employee will canvass for his case except through a representation to the Head of the Department. Gurugram: Haryana Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij has stirred the political waters by urging BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli to resign until being cleared of rape allegations, currently under investigation by Himachal Pradesh Police. On Saturday, Vij, while speaking to the media during an event at his home constituency, Ambala Cantonment, said, “Until the Himachal Pradesh Police clears him of charges or concludes the investigation, he should resign from his position to uphold the sanctity of the party.” Badoli, along with Haryanvi singer Rocky Mittal, is facing charges of raping a Delhi woman in a hotel in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, back in 2023.
