AGRA: Five people died and 16 others were injured when a double-decker bus travelling from Delhi's Kashmere Gate to Azamgarh collided with a truck on the Yamuna Expressway in Aligarh around 1am on Thursday, reports Deepak Lavania. The crash occurred when the bus driver tried to overtake the truck transporting glass items in dense fog, police said.Inspector Shishupal Verma of Tappal police station said, "The injured were sent to a hospital in Jewar, Noida..." "The truck driver managed to escape, but the vehicle has been seized. CCTV footage is being reviewed. Legal action will follow based on complaints," said DSP Rajiv Dwivedi.Source link
