After the Faridabad police booked a gym trainer and his associates for allegedly assaulting the sons of Haryana MLA Harendra Singh Ramratan, the BJP leader Sunday said the issue has been “settled amicably”. The alleged attack on Hodal MLA Ramratan’s sons Vishal and Jagpriya occurred near Any Time Fitness at Sector 28 Friday evening, as per the Metro police station. Gurugram: Former Haryana Congress MLA and ex-parliamentary secretary Sharda Rathore has allegedly been defrauded of Rs 10 lakh. A man named Brij Bhushan Sharma, who has been named as the accused in the FIR lodged by her in Faridabad, allegedly promised to arrange meetings with senior national leaders on her behalf and manage her social media activities. When none of these promises materialised, Rathore demanded her money back. In response, Sharma issued cheques, which later bounced upon being presented at the bank. 2 days after woman dies in Faridabad accident, truck driver still on the run

More than 48 hours after a 32-year-old woman died and three others were injured in an accident involving a 16-wheeler dumper truck and three other vehicles in Haryana’s Faridabad, the police on Thursday lodged an FIR against the truck driver, who is absconding. The accident took place early Tuesday morning at an intersection in Sector 21C near Ankhir Chowk. According to Jasbir Singh, Station House Officer, Ankhir police post, the truck first crashed into a school bus that was on its way to pick up children.
