Cyclone Fengal LIVE: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced on Monday, December 2, 2024, that the remnants of Cyclonic Storm Fengal have weakened into a Well-Marked Low-Pressure Area over North Interior Tamil Nadu. The system, which made landfall near Puducherry on November 30, is expected to move westward and reemerge as a low-pressure zone over the southeast and east-central Arabian Sea, off the coasts of Kerala and Karnataka, by December 3. In Tamil Nadu, heavy rainfall caused by the storm has led to widespread disruption.
