BJP MP demands ban on Bigg Boss, takes aim at ‘controversial’ Salman Khan in Parliament
New Delhi: Asking for a ban on reality shows such as Bigg Boss, Anil Firojiya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Ujjain, said such shows, promoting obscenity in the society, had become a cause of concern for Indian families.
On Thursday, Anil Firojiya urged the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to “immediately ban the telecast of Bigg Boss and other similar programmes, which have been promoting obscenity in the society”.
“Bigg Boss is a programme telecast in a major way across the country and is viewed by crores of people.
