Delhi Govt Announces Work From Home For 50% Employees To Reduce Pollution

The Delhi government has announced work from home for half of its employees amid 'severe' air quality in the national capital. The government will hold a meeting at 1 pm today to discuss its implementation, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Wednesday. The Supreme Court on Monday questioned the Delhi government over the delay in the implementation of stage 4 of GRAP in the national capital despite an alarming rise in pollution. The apex court said it will not allow the scaling down of preventive measures under stage 4 of GRAP even if AQI goes below 450.
