Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was photographed on Trump Force One posing with a McDonald’s Big Mac and a Coca-Cola. He was picked as the chief of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) by President-elect Donald Trump.
Kennedy Jr, who has criticised Trump’s love for fast food was seated next to Trump, tech guru Elon Musk and Donald Trump Jr. on Trump’s Boeing 757 during a trip to UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden Saturday, according to the New York Post.

The photo of Kennedy next to a McDonald’s meal was posted on social media by several Trump confidants, including campaign deputy director of communications Margo Martin and Trump Jr.
Speaker Mike Johnson, who wasn’t sitting at the table also managed to slip in for a picture as well. “Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison,” Kennedy previously told podcaster Joe Polish last week. “You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice, you’re either given KFC or Big Macs.”
“That’s when you’re lucky, and then the rest of the stuff I consider kind of inedible”, he added.
Kennedy also remarked that “the stuff that [Trump] eats is really, like, bad.”
According to the New York Post, Kennedy has been a long-standing advocate against various preservatives and industrial chemicals that are put into US food, calling for a national crackdown.
In October, Trump had teased the idea, that Kennedy would oversee the health portfolio while speaking at the rally in New York. He told the audience that he would let Kennedy “go wild on health,” “go wild on the food” and “go wild on medicines” if reelected.
After accepting the role on Thursday, in a statement, Kennedy emphasised the importance of getting rid of “corruption” in the HHS Department and also vowed “to provide Americans with transparency” so they can make individual health decisions.
