Meanwhile, sources said that the Khar police have served notice to few members of the audience who were present in the Kamra’s February 2 stand-up show at the Habitat studio in Khar where he made the remarks against Shinde. The notice asked to visit police station and record their statement as witness.

Senior police officers refrained from commenting on the matter.

Four FIRs have been filed against Kamra over his remarks against Shinde during a standup show titled “Naya Bharat”.

In the first case, police issued him two summons, but Kamra has not turned up before the police. The first case was filed on a complaint by Shinde Sena MLA Murji Patel, while other cases were filed at different districts of Maharashtra and later transferred to the Khar police station as the stand-up show was performed at Habitat studio in Khar.

After a video clip of the show was uploaded online, Sena workers had vandalised the studio on March 23.
