Khel Khel Mein Box Office Day 15: Akshay Kumar starrer adds Rs 6.66 crore in second week | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

There seems to be no end to Akshay Kumar’s struggle at the box office, his latest film Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz and co-starring Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal has performed decently , but in no way can it be termed as success. The film released on 15th August, clashing with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 and John Abraham’s Vedaa.The only consolation for Khel Khel Mein is that it has earned more money than Vedaa. Since the pandemic, Akshay has delivered only two legit hits one was Sooryavanshi, and second was OMG 2, where he was seen in a cameo role.

Khel Khel Mein earned Rs 19.35 crore in the first week. On second Friday, it earned Rs 70 lakh, Saturday collection was Rs 1.35 crore, and Sunday was Rs 1.75 crore. On Monday and Tuesday, the film stayed steady with Rs 85 lakh, and Rs 80 lakh respectively, with Wednesday numbers dipping to Rs 65 lakh, and Thursday being at Rs 56 lakh, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the second week total to Rs 6.66 crore and total collection of the film to Rs 26.01 crore.

Apart from Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein may face competition from Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, releasing on September 6th. Until then, the film can expect a steady box office run, aiming to cross Rs 30 crore. Akshay Kumar has an exciting lineup of upcoming films, including Sky Force, Singham Again on Diwali, Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3, and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair next year. Additionally, he’s reportedly collaborating with Siddharth Anand on a project directed by Milan Luthria
On the other hand, talks are going on about postponement of Akshay’s film Sky Force, it was scheduled to release on 2nd October, but now it might get postponed to early next year.
