IPL 2025 Points Table, Top Batters, Top Bowlers, Team Rankings and Standing Today Update: Sunrisers Hyderabad rose out of the bottom of the IPL 2025 standings after their eight-wicket victory over Punjab Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad in match 27. SRH went from 10th to 8th as the two five-time champions Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians now find themselves at the bottom of the pile. At the top of the IPL standings too, there was a change as Delhi Capitals took top spot after Gujarat’s defeat to Lucknow Super Giants.
There was also ranking gain for Lucknow Super Giants earlier in the day after they defeated the Gujarat Titans by six wickets at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

After SRH handed a devastating defeat to the Punjab Kings, there was a Hyderabad batter who inched closer to the top 5 ranks, rising to the 6th spot in the IPL 2025 Orange Cap leaderboard.

But it was not Saturday’s hero Abhishek Sharma, who smashed 141 from 55 balls. Abhishek, in fact, despite Saturday’s knock, is not even in the top 10 spots.
