Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has named India all-rounder Shardul Thakur as a replacement for left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan, who has been injured and ruled out of the ongoing IPL season.

Thakur, who went unsold at the auction, has been signed from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) at his reserve price of ₹2 crore. He brings valuable IPL experience, having played 95 matches for five franchises.

LSG will begin its campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Monday (March 24, 2025) at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA cricket stadium in Visakhapatnam.
