The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced the India senior men’s home series schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season, slated to begin in October 2025.
“The home season will commence with the IDFC First Bank Test series against West Indies, starting on 2nd October 2025 in Ahmedabad. The second and final Test of the series will be held in Kolkata from 10th October.
The second Test between South Africa and India will be played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati as Assam will get to host their first International Test match.
“India will host South Africa for a gripping contest across all three formats. The IDFC First Bank Test series against South Africa will be historic as Guwahati is set to host its maiden Test match. The series will begin in New Delhi on 14th November, with Guwahati hosting the second Test from 22nd November,” the BCCI announced in a statement.
India will play four Tests, three One-Day Internationals and five T20Is in the upcoming home season.
