GATE COAPS important dates 2025: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has revised the schedule for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) 2025, which is used for admissions to Master of Technology (MTech) programmes and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025.
Candidates holding a valid GATE score from 2025 or the past two years are eligible to participate in the COAP process. However, they must submit separate applications to each institution or organisation offering admissions or job opportunities. Several prestigious institutes, including IISc Bangalore and leading Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Roorkee, are part of this process.
The COAP 2025 admission process consists of multiple rounds, allowing candidates to choose from options like “Accept and Freeze,” “Retain and Wait,” or “Reject and Wait.” The “Retain and Wait” choice can be used only twice for the same offer during rounds one to four. In round five, candidates must make a final decision, as only “Accept and Freeze” or “Reject” options will be available. Rounds six to ten function independently, providing candidates with similar decision-making options.
