On Friday, a video of his visit surfaced online, which the singer-actor himself shared on X (formerly Twitter), captioning it, “Dakshineswar Temple, Kolkata… Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa Ji.”
In the video, Diljit is seen dressed in a serene white kurta-pyjama, meditating and praying within the temple premises. The clip also showcases his deep respect for the spiritual atmosphere. As he exited the temple, Diljit took a moment to interact with his fans, posing for photos with admirers who were ecstatic to see him up close.
The actor-singer arrived in Kolkata on November 28 and has been sharing glimpses of his journey on social media. From in-flight pictures to sightseeing in the city, the artist documented his experience of Kolkata’s charm. He was spotted enjoying a ride in the city’s iconic yellow taxi and spending tranquil moments along the banks of the Hooghly River.
This visit is part of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour 2024, which has already captivated audiences worldwide, including in the US, Canada, UK, and across Europe. The India leg of the tour kicked off in New Delhi, with Diljit performing in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Pune. His Kolkata show is expected to draw a massive crowd, while the grand finale of the tour is set for December 29 in Guwahati.
