Abhay Verma, who is riding high on the success of ‘Munjya‘, recently shared how much money he earned from his first job as a junior artist in Hrithik Roshan‘s movie ‘Super 30‘.
During a recent interview with Digital Commentary, Abhay fondly recalled his days as a junior artist in the film ‘Super 30’, led by Hrithik. When asked about his earnings, he shared that he had earned Rs 800.Out of this, he sent Rs 500 to his mother and kept Rs 300 for himself, feeling immensely proud to send what felt like Rs 5 lakh to his mom.

When asked about his experience as a junior artist in Super 30, Abhay mentioned the constant mental activity actors go through. He explained that the journey of becoming an actor isn’t just on set, but also off-set, where actors wrestle with doubts about their career choices. “That’s when one is getting prepared,” he expressed.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is the fourth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe. Starring Abhay Verma, Sharvari Wagh, and Mona Singh, this horror comedy saw a modest promotional campaign but opened strongly at the box office. Positive word of mouth has sustained its momentum, and now, three weeks after its release, it’s on track to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in lifetime earnings.

Interestingly, before Abhay Verma, Shraddha Kapoor or Alia Bhatt were considered for his role. In an interview with Filmibeat, the actor disclosed that the director decided to rewrite the character as a boy after developing the script for 4-5 years, which eventually led to him landing the opportunity.
