Woman’s headless body found in Faridabad, police lodge murder case
A woman’s headless body was found stuffed in a travel bag along the Agra Canal in Haryana’s Faridabad Wednesday. The Faridabad police said they were alerted by residents who spotted the bag in the area Wednesday afternoon, and lodged a First Information Report (FIR) based on one of their accounts later in the day.
The Faridabad police said the FIR was lodged under sections 103(1) and 238(b) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, which deal with punishment for intentional murder and disappearance of evidence, respectively, at the area police station.
