Facebook and Instagram outages impact thousands in US – Times of India

Meta platforms Facebook and Instagram users all around the US experienced significant outages on Monday, Downdetector website reported.Around 1:44 pm Eastern Time, users had reported over 8,000 issues with Facebook and more than 4,000 with Instagram.According to Downdetector, both Facebook and Instagram services were largely restored for most users after the disruption. At the peak of the outage around 1:35 pm ET, over 12,000 incidents were reported for Facebook, while for Instagram the numbers were more than 5,000 issues.
