Nearly a decade after impressing music lovers with her unique version of Adele‘s ‘Skyfall,’ legendary singer Usha Uthup has charmed her audience once more. She performed the song at an event held at a hotel in Kolkata. Fans were happily surprised to see Uthup bring back her memorable rendition.

‘Skyfall,’ originally sung by global icon Adele for the James Bond movie of the same name, was written by Adele and produced by Paul Epworth.The song, known for JAC. Redford’s powerful orchestration and Adele’s soulful voice, is considered one of the best Bond themes. Usha Uthup added her unique style and energy to the song, giving it a fresh twist with her powerful voice.
A video posted on Instagram by Muse Musicworld captured Usha Uthup’s rendition of ‘Skyfall,’ which received plenty of praise.

The iconic singer’s version of the song first gained attention at an INK event in 2013. Her recent performance has now taken the internet by storm, racking up over 12 million views in just one day. Fans quickly filled the comment section with praise for the iconic singer.
One user shared, “She has magic in her voice,” while another added, “Giving me the vibe of the queen of voices, goosebumps.” A fan also commented, “Adele is great but she is the GOAT”.

Usha Uthup is a musical legend, known for her unique voice that made her a jazz pioneer for Indian audiences in the 1970s. Some of her most memorable tracks include ‘Ramba Ho,’ ‘One Two Cha Cha,’ ‘Shaan Se,’ ‘Koi Yahan Nache Nache,’ and ‘Hari Om Hari.’
Earlier this year, Usha Uthup’s outstanding contributions to Indian music were honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan, the country’s third-highest civilian award.
