The Delhi Police said they have apprehended four minor boys for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old youth after an altercation over DJ songs in the Mahendra Park area on Saturday.
According to the police, a call was received at the Mahender Park police station on Saturday from BJRM Hospital about a medico-legal case of a stabbing incident.
“It was reported that one Bheem Sen was admitted to BJRM Hospital by his friend after sustaining injuries during a physical altercation,” DCP (North West) Bhisham Singh said.
A resident of the Badhola village, Sen succumbed to the two stab injuries, the police said. Investigation revealed that on Friday night, he got into an argument with an accused minor over playing DJ and the choice of songs during an event in the locality. The accused felt humiliated and planned revenge, the police said.
“In an act of revenge, on Saturday, he, along with his three friends, attacked Bheem Sen with a knife with the intent to kill. The accused and his friends have been apprehended,” DCP Singh said.
The body of Sen is preserved at the BJRM mortuary, and a case has been registered at the Mahendra Park police station.
“Efforts are currently underway to recover the weapon used in the commission of the crime. The crime team and forensic teams have already inspected the area. The children in conflict of law (CCLs) were apprehended,” DCP Singh said.

Meanwhile, crime data given by the Delhi Police showed that 107 cases of murder were reported between January 1 and March 31 in 2025, a slight uptick from 105 in 2024 during the same period, but lower than 2023, when it was 115. Attempt to murder cases, though, went down by 17.24 per cent to 168 as compared to 203 in 2024.
