Anomalies detected in ‘untainted’ teachers list, say WBSSC sources
Sources in the West Bengal School Service Commission (SSC) Saturday informed that they have intimated the School Education Department about anomalies detected in the recently released list of ‘untainted’ teachers.
The SSC had released a list of 15,403 candidates from the 2016 teachers’ recruitment panel who were found ‘untainted’.
On April 3, the Supreme Court cancelled the 2016 recruitment panel, leading to the loss of jobs of around 25,753 teaching and non-teaching staff in state-aided schools in West Bengal.

Later, the Supreme Court allowed untainted teachers to continue till December 31, but no such relief was extended to Group C and D non-teaching staff.
