Simon Doull had a controversial take on Shubman Gill’s 94-run innings against Lucknow Super Kings saying that if a batter is struggling to play the big shots, teams should opt to retire him. “Shubman was getting tired. He wasn’t able to hit the boundaries as much as he could. And it can happen.
