RAJKOT: The arrival of the England cricket team for the third Test match in Rajkot was marred by a hiccup when one of their players faced some issue at the makeshift immigration clearance counter set up at the new international airport here on Monday."There was some technical issue with the visa of Rehan Ahmed due to which he was stopped at the airport," Jaydev Shah, president of the Saurashtra Cricket Association, told TOI.Sources said England skipper Ben Stokes stayed with the spinner till the issue was resolved. NEW DELHI: The Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) on Monday decided to launch a disciplinary probe after liquor bottles were recovered from its U-23 cricketers while they were heading back to Rajkot from Chandigarh.As per SCA sources, the incident occurred on January 25 following Saurashtra's win over hosts Chandigarh in the CK Nayudu Trophy.A sizeable amount of liquor was detected in the cargo area of the plane, which the cricketers were to board.The liquor was subsequently seized by authorities at the Chandigarh Airport."There has been an alleged incident at Chandigarh that was brought to notice of Saurashtra Cricket Association," said the SCA in a statement."The alleged incident is unfortunate and intolerable.
