VVS Laxman, Hrishikesh Kanitkar to be head coaches for Asian Games | Cricket News – Times of India

MUMBAI: Batting great and National Cricket Academy chairman VVS Laxman will be the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team, while ex-India allrounder Hrishikesh Kanitkar will be the interim head coach of the Indian women’s cricket team for the Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou i from Sep 23 to Oct 8. Laxman is currently overseeing a high-performance camp of India’s emerging players at Alur near Bangalore.
