Congress, SS-UBT exchange barbs over Dharavi redevelopment
A day after Mumbai Congress chief and Lok Sabha MP Varsha Gaikwad alleged that the people of Dharavi who have opposed the redevelopment plan and chosen not to participate in the ongoing survey are being declared illegal and ineligible for rehabilitation, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former MP Rahul Shewale said the people of Dharavi should not fall prey to fear-mongering and false propaganda and attacked Gaikwad for belittling the interests of the people for her family’s politics.
