Arvind Kejriwal To Stay In ED Custody For 3 More Days — A Timeline Of Delhi CM’s Battle In Courts

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday granted the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for three more days till April 1, in connections with Delhi Liiquor Policy case. Kejriwal was produced before the trial court in Delhi as his six days custody that the court had granted on Friday expired today. The matter was heard by a special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja.  The Delhi Chief Minister appeared in the court in person and called the ED's case against an attempt to frame him Kejriwal said that Sarath Reddy donated 50 crores to BJP through electoral bonds after being arrested. Delhi court summons wrestler Bajrang Punia in criminal defamation complaint | More sports News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Thursday summoned wrestler Bajrang Punia on September 6 in a criminal defamation complaint filed against him by wrestling coach Naresh Dahiya.Metropolitan Magistrate Yashdeep Chahal directed Punia to appear before the court on that day, holding he is of the "prima facie" view that all the ingredients of defamation were made out.He said at the stage of summoning it was fairly settled that the court was not required to go into a comparative analysis of the possible defence that may be taken by the accused."On a consideration of the complaint, supporting documents and pre-summoning evidence, I am of the prima facie view that all the ingredients of defamation are made out.
