All civic complaints in Delhi can now be registered by dialling a unified helpline number, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said on Monday. “Our vision is ‘One Delhi, One Number’. Citizens will no longer need to run from department to department to file their complaints — whether it’s waterlogging, broken roads, choked drains, or overflowing sewers — and worry about which department is responsible for their issue. They simply have to dial 311, and the complaint will be redirected to the appropriate department immediately,” he said. New Delhi: A report presented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in assembly Monday to mark the completion of 8 years in power stated that 222 ‘mafias’ were killed and 8,118 were injured in encounters with the police between 2017 and 2025.
