Now, dial 311 to register civic complaints: ‘One Delhi, One number’

All civic complaints in Delhi can now be registered by dialling a unified helpline number, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh said on Monday. “Our vision is ‘One Delhi, One Number’. Citizens will no longer need to run from department to department to file their complaints — whether it’s waterlogging, broken roads, choked drains, or overflowing sewers — and worry about which department is responsible for their issue. They simply have to dial 311, and the complaint will be redirected to the appropriate department immediately,” he said. The move aims to end the blame game between different departments amid preparation for the monsoon. Delhi govt to hand out health cards to senior citizens over 70 years today

The Delhi government will distribute Ayushman Bharat cards to eligible senior citizens, aged 70 years and above, under the Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana at the Thyagaraj Stadium on Monday. New Delhi: A report presented by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in assembly Monday to mark the completion of 8 years in power stated that 222 ‘mafias’ were killed and 8,118 were injured in encounters with the police between 2017 and 2025. It also said that action was taken against 79,984 criminals under the Gangsters Act and against 930 criminals under the National Security Act (NSA) in the past eight years.
