
Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter Harshita Kejriwal got married in a traditional ceremony at Kapurthala House, the official residence of the Punjab chief minister in Delhi, on Friday.
Harshita Kejriwal, 28, who graduated from IIT Delhi in 2018 with a degree in chemical engineering, got married to her former classmate Sambhav Jain.
She was working with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Gurgaon till last year, after which she and Jain founded the Basil Health start-up.
The start-up uses automation to provide customised healthy meals.
The wedding ceremony was a small affair, sources said, with only family members and close friends attending.
Former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, his wife Seema Sisodia, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and his wife Gurpreet Kaur were among those who attended the celebrations.
On Thursday, pre-wedding functions were held at the Shangri-La hotel in New Delhi.
Videos of Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal dancing to a song from the movie Pushpa 2 at the event were shared widely on social media. Punjab CM Mann and his wife were also seen dancing in one of the videos that was shared.

Harshita Kejriwal was part of Arvind Kejriwal’s political campaigns over the years but remained restricted to her father’s former constituency of New Delhi. During his time in jail in connection with allegations of money laundering in the excise policy case, Harshita Kejriwal and her mother remained active in the constituency.
Arvind Kejriwal lost from the constituency, which he had won in 2013, 2015, and 2020, to BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh in a close contest in the Delhi Assembly elections held in February this year.
The three-time Delhi CM is expected to host a wedding reception on April 20, sources said.
