Encounter break outs in J&K’s Baramulla | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: An encounter between terrorists and security forces began on Friday night in the Chak Tapper Kreeri Pattan area of Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir.
Law enforcement and security forces are actively involved in the ongoing operation. Further details awaited.
In a separate incident, two army soldiers died while two others were injured in an ongoing encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.The encounter broke out earlier in the evening in Pingnal Dugadda forest area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
“Based on the intelligence inputs, a joint operation with J&K Police was launched in area Chatroo at Kishtwar.A contact was established and scout leading the patrol exchanged heavy volume of fire with the terrorists at 1530 hrs. In the ensuing firefight four army personnel have been injured. The operation is in progress,” White Knight Corps of Indian Army said.
