Kejriwal Slams Amit Shah For Rising Crime In Delhi
Immediately after the incident, former Delhi Chief Minister AND Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the rising crime rate in the national Capital. With Delhi Police being administered directly by the Union Home Ministry, the responsibility of the maintenance of law and order in the national capital lies with the Centre.
Arvind Kejriwal said: “Amit Shah ji has ruined Delhi. He has established a jungle raj in Delhi. People everywhere are living in terror. The BJP cannot handle the law and order in Delhi. The people of Delhi will have to unite and raise their voices.”
https://t.co/UDmn45100o

Arvind Kejriwal has been highlighting the deteriorating law-and-order situation in Delhi for quite some time now. Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections likely in February 2025, the rising crime rate in the national capital has become a major poll plank for the Aam Aadmi party.
